Second generation born and raised angeleno, Lindsey discovered her deep connection to food at a young age. Whether it was walking down to Ocean View Farms Community Garden with her mom, eating any vegetable a gardener would let her taste or using her leftovers on her plate to bring her playful imagination to life, it was clear this was her passion. Over the years, she began to educate herself, buying cookbooks and spending hours glued to the food network, and testing out her recipes on friends and family.


Lindsey Trained at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu’s California School of Culinary Arts in 2004. She was immediately hired after graduating at 2 Michelin star rated Providence Restaurant. She worked hundreds of events for top catering companies before landing at Michael's Restaurant in Santa Monica as their Event Coordinator. She took that knowledge and started Fig + Forage in 2013. Her knowledge of food, combined with her keen sense for coordinating events is a perfect fit as she continues to hone her skill with taste and style.
